Club Activities.
Activities. We provide a wide range of activities for the children to participate in, if they want to! Some children prefer a more leisurely breakfast and to watch some television. Others prefer to read, colour or draw. We have many different arts and crafts activities that we try to link into themes eg. Mothers Day, Easter and Spring. There are many jigsaws, puzzles, word searches and lots of board games too. We also have giant dominos, Jenga and a football table. Towards the end of Breakfast Club we like to play a game or two as a large group. Usually sharks or Simon says - something to switch on the children’s minds and prepare them for their day at school. We are always open to suggestions and frequently ask the children if there are any particular games or activities they would like us to provide, in order to ensure they don’t get too bored with the same old thing week in week out!
Menus. Here are some of the foods on offer! At the last count there were 14 different types of cereal! We aim to please the children by ensuring that there is something they will eat!
- Beans on toast
- Porridge - plain or with dried fruit or honey
- Toast with jam, marmite, honey, marmalade
- Yoghurts
- Cereal bars
- Chocolate Brioche
- Croissants
- Fruit Juices
- Milk
- Water
- Selection of fresh fruits
We are happy to receive any suggestions for breakfasts but we are limited with the kitchen faclilities.
