Maes Yr Haul Childrens Club Ltd is managed by parents of children at the school and is a non-profit making organisation. We, as a management team, are non paid directors. No-one receives any money or benefits for our work, we give our time on a voluntary basis.
We are proud of what we have managed to achieve as we are all working mothers with children at the school. Amazingly, only a couple of us have had the need to use the club! However, the very fact that we have not only become a well established part of the school but also remained viable considering we are no longer funded by anyone is a great achievement! We are entirely self sufficient and able to pay for rent, wages, insurances and food and activities.
We employ 3 members of staff who, through a lot of hard work and early mornings, ensure that the club is a safe and happy environment for the children in our care.

The club is fully supported by and registered with Clybiau Plant Cymru Kid’s Clubs, who help set up, develop and support out of school childcare clubs. Out of school childcare clubs enable parents or carers to return to work, education or training in the knowledge that their children are being cared for by qualified play workers. There are currently approximately 900 breakfast, after school and holiday clubs across Wales and Clybiau Plant Cymru Kid’s Clubs aims to develop one in every community where children aged 3 - 14 can play happily in a safe, stimulating and secure environment.
The club is obviously insured for both Public Liability and Employers Liability through a PlaySafe policy privided by MortonMichel who are specialists in childcare insurance.
