This site has been designed to present information about the Maes Yr Haul Primary School Breakfast Club both to existing and prospective users. Although the Club runs at Maes Yr Haul Primary School it is NOT run by the school. The Breakfast Club was set up by Maes Yr Haul Children’s Club Ltd following the distribution of a survey among parents to ascertain the need for such a service within the area. As a result of the survey findings the Breakfast Club was launched following the successful application for grant funding from the New Opportunities Fund (NOF - now known as the Big Lottery Fund).
"I would like to extend my congratulations to the hard working team of parents who run the Breakfast Club. Their enthusiasm, sheer hard work and determination to succeed are reflected in the growing numbers who happily use the Breakfast Club on a regular basis. Running such a club involves the management group in dedicating a significant amount of their personal time to ensuring the organisation runs smoothly, efficiently and within the guidelines set down by national regulatory bodies. The Club has now been in existence for 2 years and is firmly established not only for the valuable service it provides, but equally as importantly for the quality of that service through the team of workers who provide it. This dedicated team provides a nutritious breakfast, opportunities for activity and socialising within a nurturing and safe environment.
